Cesar Chavez Day
Ever year on March 31st, our girls get hands on in the community. Having the ability to volunteer all over campus, and in Bidwell Park, our sisters have helped clean up the community on this day off from Chico State.
Dia De Los Muertos
Alpha Chi Girls participate in Dia De Los Muertos, which is organized by MECHA and NAK. We spend this day recognizing and celebrating loved ones, who have now passed on. This give us the opportunity to learn about different cultures, eat some great food, and hang out for the day.
Habitat for Humanity
Our girls have had the opportunity to help assist team members from the Habitat for Humanity in building a house for a family in need. This rewarding experience teaches girls how to work in a team, use power-tools safely, and do community service.
The Heart Walk
Every Fall, AX finds organizations to sponsor our chapter, in our support of the American Heart Association Walk, that takes place in Sacramento, CA. We volunteer at the event, passing out waters, working booths and tearing down the event.
NAK Land
